Writing Characters for Historical Fiction

During his Thought for the Day broadcast on BBC Radio 4 last month, Rev. Dr. Giles Fraser revealed that while at theological college he and other students were asked to take the Myers-Briggs personality test. Before results were given, the students were also asked to write down what type of personality they thought Jesus might have possessed. Interestingly, there was a high correlation between the student’s personality type and the type that they assigned to Jesus. As the Rev.
