Space, Still the Final Frontier!

For several years now my son, along with many other talented souls, has worked on a rocket that will one day take supplies to and from the International Space Station. The launch pad at Wallops Island, Virginia was several time-zones away, but I was able to watch the test flight of the Antares rocket in real time on NASA’s WebTV. After mechanical and a weather postponements, Antares finally left our planet for a spectacular orbit and deployment of two small cantlope-size satellites! I would guess that most people, including Americans, are not aware that there is a spaceport on the Atlantic...
